September 11th, 2001 Remembrance

The Bay Harbor Islands Police Department will be hosting a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the corner of Bay Harbor Terrace and 97th Street on Monday, September 11, 2023. This year's keynote speaker will be SGM Joseph J. Hissong.

We invite you to join us in remembering September 11, 2001, and the losses suffered at the World Trade Center, The Pentagon and in Pennsylvania; to memorialize those who were killed, honor the sacrifices of the first responders, and recall the extraordinary response to these tragic events that changed all our lives.

We recommend you walk or cycle to the event. If driving, please park at the Municipal Parking Garage or along Kane Concourse, as Bay Harbor Terrace will be closed to traffic from 4:00 PM through approximately 10:00 PM.
